Show us the best creative artist or crafter that you know personally.
I'm quite fortunate to know many highly creative quilters. I can count among my friends Darcy, Martha, Barbie Jo, Marilyn, Alice, Charlotte, Laura, Charlene, Don, Susan, Ruth, Trish, Adrian, Nancy and many many more highly creative people.
I've also been fortunate enough to meet (and take classes from) Pat Campbell, Paula Nadelstern, Linda Taylor, Holice Turnbow, Marsha McCloskey, Billie Lauder, Ami Simms, Mary Ellen Hopkins, Judy Severson, Sharon Newman (and I'm sure a few more I'm just not remembering right now). Not to mention all the other highly talented people I've met and learned from over the years who just aren't popping into my head right now. I've been very lucky.

I had the good fortune of having Paula in my shop to teach a three day workshop on kaleidoscope quilts in March 2006. She is a fabulous teacher and I learned so much from her. While she was here she was working on her Brooklyn Bridge quilt. The deadline for it was fast approaching and she was pretty much out of time for hand quilting it as she has done all of her other quilts. I convinced her to let me show her how to use my long arm machine. Between the two of us (yes, she did most of the work) we got it quilted in one evening.
Here's the results of my effort from her class. A "Quilt in a Day" technique this is not.
Show us something you made by hand.
This site is full of things I've made, but here's something without a single machine stitch in it anywhere.
