Vox Hunt: In Bloom

I like these! If the sky were blue, the highlights on the flowers would probably have blown out. Pale pink/purple flowers are very hard to photograph in anything other than overcast conditions.
You can make a nice springtime banner for your blog from this picture. Want me to make one for you? I might even be able to give it a blue sky. Did you see the one on my blog? I took that picture of the Bradford Pear tree across the street.
I'll accept that argument for the top picture. I'd love to fracture the bottom one, but with the flowers and the memorial blending right into the sky it wouldn't be very exciting. It really needs a clear blue sky.

Sure, go for it.

Yes, I did. I like it.

So make it blue.

Now you're getting outside my range of skills.
OK... here's your blue sky.

Pretty. They look like they were taken with infrared film and then hand colored.
That top picture has something wrong with it. I cannot copy or modify it, I am just getting code.

Beautiful! I want to go to DC one year for the festival - I'll bet it's great in person.

I'll bet it is too. John only lived in the area for one spring. I'm sure glad he picked a good one. I was hoping to come visit him one year at the this time. Ah well.
I think I have stood in the same spot to take photo 31 !!!

Beautiful photos. The Cherry Blossom parade is this Sunday. There is something magical about the tidal basin surrounded by all these trees and the air is wonderfully perfumed. (It does make my train commute a little difficult in the afternoons though. I can not believe how many tourists come for the cherry blossoms).
Oops! The Cherry Blossom parade is next w/end - 12th.
